How To Survive High School // Collab With Meet Me In Melford

Hey everyone, so for today's post I thought I would share with you some tips on How To Survive High School. This is also a collab with the wonderful Meet Me In Melford so make sure you read her post after this one.

Anyways without futher ado lets get started.

Friends
So when you first start at High School it can be a pretty daunting time. Especially when it comes to finding new friends. . My tip for this is to stick with people you know from your old school for a hit until you find some new ones.

Also you'll probably get put next to people you don't know in your classes. So the trick is to get talking to them, this is how I met my best friend and I honestly promise you it works.

Bullies
So next up I want to talk about bullies. Those nasty people who think they are better than everyone else, but as a matter of fact their probably insecure about themselves.

I've had my fair share of bullies and the trick is just ignore them, eventually they'll stop bothering you and move on.

Teachers
You always get that one teacher that is the worst out of all of them. With this teacher make sure you work extra hard to avoid getting on their bad side.

Alps like their is bad teachers their are the really nice ones agin you should work equally as hard and they'll appreciate that and reward you.

Homework
Next up is dreaded homework, you do end up getting quite a lot in high school, so the trick is to organise your time and make sure you get everything done to the best possible standard you can, because in the end you're going to benefit from getting those extra marks.

Detentions
Oh those dreaded detentions that everyone hates getting. To avoid getting detentions make sure you get your homework in on time, don't be rude and just get on with your work without causing any trouble.

So that was My How To Survive High School. I hope you enjoyed and I'll talk to you later. Toodlepip xx

High-End Beauty Favourites: #summerwithbee

Hi everyone, so for today's post I'm going to be talking you through my High-End favourites. Please don't think I'm bragging because I'm not, a lot of this stuff was gifted to me which I'm super grateful for and others I bought with money which again was kindly gifted to me and for that I'm super grateful.

Anyways without further ado lets get started.

Ok so I'm going to be showing you the products in the order they go on my face so like primer, foundation etc. Also I don't have a product for every category of makeup.

1.Primer
So the primer that I love to use is Benefits Porefessional. Now this may not be classed as a high end product but I'm just going to include it anyway. This is really good and helps to keep my makeup on all day!!

2. Foundation
So the foundation that is my fave is MAC's Studio Fix Fluid. This foundation has super good coverage and isn't valley on the skin. Overall it is an amazing product.

3. Concealer
So my next product is my concealer and this is again from MAC. It is their Minrslized concealer. Again this has really good coverage and I love using it under my eyes because it conceals and highlights.

4. Blusher
Next up is my blush and the one I actually love is in liquid form. And it is Benefit's Benetint, this is a really good product and looks really pretty and natural on the cheeks.

4. Highlighter
Again this is another liquid product from Benefit. High Beam is shoe groups pinky toned highlighter and looks gorgeous on the skin.

5. Eyeshadow
Next up is one of the things I love the most. And it is my Naked 2 palette, I love two colours in here specifically and they are Bootycall and Tease because when blended together create a really nice natural smokey eye.

6. Next up is a new mascara that I have been loving ad its again from Benefit and it is their Roller Lash Mascara. I've done a mini review of this product on my previous post so you can go and check it out if you want to know more about it.

7. So then finally I want to talk about my MAC lippies. These lipsticks are amazingly pigmented and are gorgeous on the lips and defo worth the price! If you would like to see a review and swatches of my MAC lippies the. Please comment below.

So those were my High-End faves, I hope you enjoyed and I'll talk to you tommorow. Toodlepip xx

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara: Is It Worth The Hype?: #summerwithbee

Hi everyone, so for todays post I thought I would do a 'Is It Worth The Hype?' post. I've not really seen any posts like this before, but I thought this would be quite fun to do especially if you're thinking about buying Roller Lash.

Anyways without further ado lets get started.

The Mascara
So the mascara itself is absolutely amazing it doesn't clump and just the right amount of product comes out on the wand every time.

The Wand

So the wand on Roller Lash is amazing. It has a curler on the end which makes your lashes super curled and they look gorgeous.

My Opinion
Overall I think this mascara is definitely worth the hype. It does exactly what is says on the packet and is definitely worth the price.

So that's it for today's post, I'm sorry it was so short but I didn't really know what to write about in a way, since this is my first post like this.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed and I'll talk to you tomorrow. Toodlepip xx

Summer Beauty Haul: #summerwithbee

Hey everyone so for today's post I'm going to be sharing with you my small beauty haul. I only have a couple of things but I still wanted to share them with you.

Anyways without further ado lets get started.

Makeup
Ok so the first thing that I want to share with you is my new mascara fave. I have been wanting Roller Lash for so long and I'm so happy that I finally have it!! Also I bought this in Duty Free at the Airport, so it was slightly cheaper.

Lush

Ok so now moving onto Lush. The first thing I got is Twilight. This is one of my faves and I will definitely be buying this until they stop selling it!!

I then got Blackberry Bath Bomb. This is a new try for me but I've had it once and absolutely loved it. The scent is amazing and super summery.

Then the final product I got from Lush, is my all time fave and it is Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. Unfortunately Lush has now changed the colour of this product which has really annoyed because I definitely prefer it in pastel pink. However I will still carry on purchasing it.

Victoria Secrets

Then the final place I went to was VS, in here I bought this set of 5 mini body sprays. This was only £17.50 because again I bought it in the Victoria Secret shop in the Airport. It has some super nice scents I'm and I will hopefully get a review up soon.

So that was my beauty haul, hopefully I will have a clothing and homeware haul up soon.

But for now I hope you enjoyed and I'll talk to you tommorow. Toodlepip xx

Summer Body Confidence: #summerwithbee

Hello everyone, so for todays post I'm going to be talking to you about Summer Body Confidence. This is slightly different to my normal posts, but I have been wanting to introduce different posts to my blog.

Anyways without further ado lets get started.

So in the run up to Summer, most of us (including me) started working on their fitness to get that 'summer body'. I think a lot of us pushed ourselves to try and achieve those bikini bodies that you see every model have. Personally I think its okay to do a bit of exercise here and there but pushing your body too much can make you feel ill.

I think we all just need to stop and for a moment take ourselves to a mirror and look at our bodies and think "I am beautiful". By thinking that you will give yourself so much more confidence and you wont feel like you need to work out all the time.

Another thing that I think a lot of us struggle with is our summer outfits. Now if you live in the UK (like me) you'll probably be in jeans a lot through the summer. But if you live in hotter countries, you will be wanting to wear shorts all the time and a lot of us struggle with the way they look in shorts or in crop tops. Again like my previous paragraph look at yourself in the mirror and think "I am beautiful".

One thing that I struggle a lot with is what people think of me (especially when I'm in shorts), I hate it when your walking in the streets and someone is staring at you. It's even worse when there is a group because you end up feeling extremely small. However personally I think you should just strut your stuff straight past them, with your head held high and that way your showing that your a much betterperson and you will feel so much more confident.

So that's all for todays post, I hope you enjoyed and I'll talk to you later. Toodlepip xx

What's In My Travel Makeup Bag- Turkey Edition: #summerwithbee

Hello everyone, so for today's post, I'm going to be sharing with you what I keep in my Travel Makeup Bag. Now I'm currently on holiday right now, (I'm actually sat on the beach, writing this) so I apologise for the rubbish backgrounds in my pictures. However the normal background will resume on Tuesday.

Anyways without further ado lets get started.

Okay so I'm going to show you the products in the order that I use them.

So the first thing that I apply is my Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder. Because I'm in a warm country I don't like wearing foundation or concealer because it would just literally slip of my face.

However I do still like a matte face, so my powder is definitiley one of my holy grail products for Travel Makeup Bag!!

Next up I move onto contouring and hgjlighting, and for this I use my all time fave contour lot from Sleek. This looks really nice on the cheekbones and gives your face a super nice bronzey look. Also the highlighter gives that really pretty highlighted glow.
I then like to move onto blush and for this again, I use my holy grail blush, also from Sleek in the shade Rose Gold. I like to apply a lot of this on my cheeks to create a really nice healthy glow.

And then because I apply a lot of blush it can tend to look a bit over the top so I then like to go back in with my powder and just gently dab it over, so the blush is toned down but still looks really pretty.
I then move onto my favourite part which is mascara. So when I was in the airpor I went to Duty Free and bought Benefits Roller Lash and it's the most gorgeous mascara ever, I like to use this to create a really nice false lash effect, and plus it compliments the other makeup bits as well.

Then I move on to my brows and for this I use my Maybelinne Dream Satin Brow Powder, and I just fill them in super naturally.

Finally I like to pick a lip colour and recently I have been loving the Rimmel Colour Rush Lip Balm in Make Me Blush, it's a super pretty pink colour and is perfect for holidays.

So that is what is in my Travel Makeup Bag, I hope you enjoyed and I'll talk to you tommorow. Toodlepip xx

Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit- Summer Edition

Hello everyone, so for today's post I thought I would talk you through my drugstore makeup starter kit.

Now this is both for people just starting out with makeup and also for those who just want to pick up some new bits. Now as you can tell by the title, this starter kit is all the makeup that I think you would benefit from during the summer.

Anyways without further ado lets get started.

Ok so obviously the first thing your going to need is of course a makeup bag. Now you're only probably going to need one if you're just starting out with makeup, but nevertheless the one that I would recommend is the blue Zoella makeup bag. Now there are another 2 designs to pick from, but this one is definitely my favourite.

So the first proper makeup product in my starter kit is the Maybelline Dream BB Cream, obviously there are a lot of BB creams in the drugstore so you're definitely spoilt for choice!!

I would definitely recommend BB Creams over foundation in the summer because they are a lot lighter.

Also like most foundations they have SPF in them which will keep your face a little bit more protection from the sun.

The next product that I would reccomend is a panstick concealer. This one is from MUA and is something like £1.

Pansticks are good in the summer if you want to get out the door quick because they don't take as much blending.

Although if you do prefer liquid concealers. The two that I would reccomend would definitely have to be the Collection Lasting Perfection and the Rimmel Wake Me Up.

These are super easy to blend and give you really good coverage

Then because in summer your face will get shiny easier. The powder I would reccomend is the Rimmel Stay Matte, this is a really good powder and mattifies your face for up to 5 hours.

Next up we're going to move on to contouring, the duo that I would reccomend for this comes in the Sleek Contour Kit. The contour colour is gorgeous and the highlighter is one of the prettiest I've seen.

Next up I'm going to talk about blushes. Now I have two blushes that I want to talk about

So the first one is from MUA, this one is super cheap at only £2. This one is in the shade English Rose, it's a gorgeous pastel pink colour and has really good pigmentation.

Then the other blush is from Sleek. This one is in the shade Rose Gold. This one is definitely my fave blush, because it has super pretty gold undertones which act as a highlight. Also this one is a dupe for Nars Orgasm, and is more than half the price at only £4.49.

Next up I want to talk about mascaras. So the first one is by Collection and is one of their colour mascaras. This one is in the shade blue and is a gorgeous electric blue.

Ever since I laid eyes on the new Benefit They're Real Coloured Mascaras, I've really been wanting the Electric Blue one, but it's like £18 and I couldn't justify spending that amount of money. So I took myself off to Boots and found this really good dupe for only £2.99.

Then the other one is by Rimmel, and this is their fairly new out Wake Me Up mascara. This mascara is super good at making your eyes look more awake. Because it has the smell of cucumber it's really nice on the lashes and also has really good colour.

So next up we're going to move onto lips. Now these two lip products are my absolute drugstore fave. They are lip balms but have super good pigmentation, these are basically the same as Maybelline Baby Lips. Also they are about £2 and there are a wide range of colours.

Then the final things that I want to talk about for this post are brushes. Now obviously you can't really apply makeup without some form of brush or sponge. My absolute favourite brushes from the drugstore are of course Real Techniques. The bristles on these are really good and the brushes make easy application.

So that was my Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit. I hope this helped some of you guys and I also hoped you enjoyed and I'll talk to you later. Toodlepip xx
