Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit- Summer Edition

Hello everyone, so for today's post I thought I would talk you through my drugstore makeup starter kit. 

Now this is both for people just starting out with makeup and also for those who just want to pick up some new bits. Now as you can tell by the title, this starter kit is all the makeup that I think you would benefit from during the summer. 

Anyways without further ado lets get started. 

Ok so obviously the first thing your going to need is of course a makeup bag. Now you're only probably going to need one if you're just starting out with makeup, but nevertheless the one that I would recommend is the blue Zoella makeup bag. Now there are another 2 designs to pick from, but this one is definitely my favourite.

So the first proper makeup product in my starter kit is the Maybelline Dream BB Cream, obviously there are a lot of BB creams in the drugstore so you're definitely spoilt for choice!! 

I would definitely recommend BB Creams over foundation in the summer because they are a lot lighter. 

Also like most foundations they have SPF in them which will keep your face a little bit more protection from the sun.

 The next product that I would reccomend is a panstick concealer. This one is from MUA and is something like £1. 

Pansticks are good in the summer if you want to get out the door quick because they don't take as much blending.

Although if you do prefer liquid concealers. The two that I would reccomend would definitely have to be the Collection Lasting Perfection and the Rimmel Wake Me Up. 

These are super easy to blend and give you really good coverage

Then because in summer your face will get shiny easier. The powder I would reccomend is the Rimmel Stay Matte, this is a really good powder and mattifies your face for up to 5 hours.

Next up we're going to move on to contouring, the duo that I would reccomend for this comes in the Sleek Contour Kit. The contour colour is gorgeous and the highlighter is one of the prettiest I've seen.

Next up I'm going to talk about blushes. Now I have two blushes that I want to talk about

So the first one is from MUA, this one is super cheap at only £2. This one is in the shade English Rose, it's a gorgeous pastel pink colour and has really good pigmentation.

Then the other blush is from Sleek. This one is in the shade Rose Gold. This one is definitely my fave blush, because it has super pretty gold undertones which act as a highlight. Also this one is a dupe for Nars Orgasm, and is more than half the price at only £4.49.

Next up I want to talk about mascaras. So the first one is by Collection and is one of their colour mascaras. This one is in the shade blue and is a gorgeous electric blue. 

Ever since I laid eyes on the new Benefit They're Real Coloured Mascaras, I've really been wanting the Electric Blue one, but it's like £18 and I couldn't justify spending that amount of money. So I took myself off to Boots and found this really good dupe for only £2.99.

Then the other one is by Rimmel, and this is their fairly new out Wake Me Up mascara. This mascara is super good at making your eyes look more awake. Because it has the smell of cucumber it's really nice on the lashes and also has really good colour.  

So next up we're going to move onto lips. Now these two lip products are my absolute drugstore fave. They are lip balms but have super good pigmentation, these are basically the same as Maybelline Baby Lips. Also they are about £2 and there are a wide range of colours.

Then the final things that I want to talk about for this post are brushes. Now obviously you can't really apply makeup without some form of brush or sponge. My absolute favourite brushes from the drugstore are of course Real Techniques. The bristles on these are really good and the brushes make easy application.

July Favourites 2015 // Collab with Pinksmarties.blog

Hello everyone so for today's post I'm bringing you another collab, this one is with the same lovely girl that I did my You Are Beautiful post. Anyway please check out her blog pinksmartiesblog. 

So without further ado lets get started.

Okay so first up, I have my MAC lipsticks. I've been wearing these two shades the most and they are both gorgeous!! 

So the first one that I have been loving is Angel. This one is a gorgeous pink and is slightly darker than Creme Cup.

Then the other one is Creme Cup. This one is the one I've been wearing to school almost everyday. It's a gorgeous neutral pink colour.

My next favourite is a new nail polish of mine. I can't remember where I first saw this colour but it was on someone's Instagram account. It's a gorgeous pastel pink colour and I've been looking for a colour like this for ages.

Next up is a skincare favourite of mine, this one is from Simple and is their light moisturiser. I've been using this every single day and it has really been making my skin nice, soft and hydrated.

Ok so next up I want to talk about two products from Soap and Glory. The first one that I want to talk about is the Righteous Butter. I like to use this after I have shaved my legs to make them nice and soft. I also like to put it on any dry parts of my body to hydrate them.

Then my final favourite is the Sugar Crush Body Scrub. I have been loving to use this in the shower to exfoliate my body. It's a gorgeous summer scent and I'm actually near the bottom of this pot so I will definitely be buying some more.

Summer Pamper Routine 2015 // Collab with Florallsummer

Hello everyone so for today's post I thought that I would do a pamper routine. Now this post has been completely inspired by Floral Princess on YouTube. 

Also this post is a collab with the lovely Florallsummer, so make sure you check out her post after you have read this one.

Anyways without further ado, let's get started!! 

Okay so the first thing that I like to do for my pamper routine is remove all my makeup. To do this, I like to use my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and some cotton wool pads. This is so much nicer than using wipes and your skin will benefit from it too.

Next up after cleansing I like to use my absolute favourite toner. Again I just use some cotton wool pads for this and it just makes sure all my makeup is off my face. 

Then the final skincare product that I like to use is my favourite face mask. I apply this just before my bath, so that I can relax in my bath with it on.

So I then like to run my bath and I would usually put in a LUSH bath bomb. 

Tonight I decided to go with Creamy Candy, because this is a bubble bar and creates a few nice relaxing bubbles.

So after I get out of the bath and I have washed my face mask off, I like to go back to my room and by this time it would be staring to get dark, so I turn on my fairy lights and light my favourite Yankee Candle in Hawthorn to make my room more relaxing.

I will then apply some of my Righteous Butter from Soap and Glory to my legs and any dry parts on my body. 

Then I usually end up painting my nails and for today's colour I decided to go with a gorgeous pastel pink colour from Barry M. This one is in the shade Rose Hip for anyone wondering!! 

Then the final thing that I like to do is get into bed and watch some YouTube videos. So today Floral Princess's new video went live so I decided to watch it!! 

So then usually I would probably watch a bit more YouTube and check my phone before going to bed.

Updated: What's In My Bag Summer 2015

So for today's post I thought I would show you an updated what's in my bag for summer. Now I know that I have recently done one of these but I have changed my bag and also changed what I keep in it. 

Anyways without further ado lets get started. 

So first of this is my bag. It's a gorgeous pastel pink colour and is from New Look. I believe this was £16 but is definitely worth it. 

It is also pretty big so can fit more things in that's just your usual phone or purse. 

Okay so the first thing that I like to keep in my bag are my sunglasses. These are from River Island however, I got these  last year so I don't know if you can still get them. 

Next up I like to keep a hand sanitizer in my bag. This definitely comes in handy and I always feel that little bit cleaner after using this.

 So the next thing in my bag is my purse. This one is from Victoria Secrets and is nice and small so doesn't take up much room in my bag. 

 I then like to keep my phone in my bag for on the go use and for if I'm ever bored. This is definitely my must have thing in my bag. 

I then like to keep some gum in my bag. I like to chew a piece after I've eaten to make me feel a little bit fresher. 

Then if I'm wearing a lip product that day I like to put it in my bag too. Recently I've been loving my MAC lipstick in Angel. I like to put in my bag for top ups throughout the day.

Then the final thing that I keep in my bag is my powder. This is another must have of mine because, my skin gets quite shiny the ought the day so I like to keep it for top ups.

You are Beautiful

Hello, everyone so for today's post I'm going to be talking about how everyone is perfect and about modern society. Also I would just like to say that this is a collaboration with pinksmartiesblog.BlogSpot.co.uk

Modern Society
Okay so I'm going to start off with talking about modern society. So the society we live in now isn't the nicest. We are judged for our appearance if we are too skinny we are accused of not eating enough, but if we are bigger we are accused of eating too much. I think people need to stop judging others on their size and just accept that everyone is perfect in their own way.

Everyone is Perfect
Moving on, next up I want to talk about how everyone is perfect. It doesn't matter whether you don't think your pretty because in your own way you are perfect. Also it doesn't matter whether your the same size or look as pretty as a model in your magazine because I can guarantee someone is jealous of you so just know you are perfect!!!!
